On september 1st, Nacim Ladjouze joins Alight as Head of Procurement, Construction and Operations. He’s spent the last 14 years building out solar energy, whereas the last +8 years as Head of Asset Management for Sonnedix in France. Based in Paris, France, he’s fluent in French, English and Arabic. Let’s get to know Nacim a bit better!
How did you start working in the solar energy sector?
– First and foremost I’m an engineer, and I always wanted to use my skills to find solutions to big problems. Solar energy is clearly part of the solution in the fight against climate change and in order to offer my daughters a better world, I am dedicating my life to it.
What will you be doing at Alight?
– I will be delivering and operating Alight’s assets across Europe, from when our projects under development reach ready-to-build to asset management of the full portfolio.
Why did you choose to join Alight?
– Alight is an agile company that can react to most of the market changes very quickly and comes with a very strong reputation. I believe Alight can become one of the leading solar IPPs (Independent Power Producers) in the world!
