Swedbank shines with Alight solar PPA
Solar park to provide 30% of Swedbank’s electricity in Sweden
Swedbank chose Alight as its provider after an extensive RFP process and now buys 11.5 GWh per year in a 20-year PPA.
The decisive factor? Alight’s team of dedicated solar PPA experts, according to Marius Adomavicius, Swedbank’s Head of Group Infrastructure.

Swedbank has long been committed to sustainability. All of the bank’s Sweden-based operations are powered by renewable energy and as a group Swedbank is targeting its greenhouse gas emissions by a fifth in the five years to 2022.
Swedbank’s 12 MW solar park churns out power since July 2020 in Linköping, south of Stockholm.
