Alight commissions 215 MWp solar park in Denmark

Alight, a Nordic solar developer and independent power producer, has commissioned the Lidsø solar park on Lolland in Denmark. The solar park is the second largest in Denmark with an installed capacity of 215 MWp. The new solar park marks Alight’s first operational asset in the Danish market.

Alight receives multi-million grant from the EU Innovation Fund for pioneering solar project in Finland

Sweden’s largest solar park inaugurated by Axfood and Alight

Sweden’s largest solar park, with an installed capacity of 64 MWp, was inaugurated yesterday outside Hallstavik in Stockholm County. The solar park was built and is owned and operated by leading Swedish solar developer and independent power producer Alight, and was made possible through a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with the grocery group Axfood. The electricity produced is certified under the “Bra Miljöval” (Good Environmental Choice) label and will cover approximately 15% of Axfood’s annual electricity consumption.

Alight secures €46 million financing from ABN AMRO and SEB to finance a 100 MWp of solar park in Finland

Alight has signed a facility agreement with banks ABN AMRO and SEB which will serve as a framework financing agreement to be utilized for the financing of the construction and operation of more than 300 MWp of solar parks in Finland. As part of the agreement, Alight has reached financial close on €46 million of senior debt for its first Finnish project — a 100 MWp solar park in Eurajoki currently in late-stage development.
