About the project: In April 2025, Alight commissioned the 64 MWp Ax-el solar park in Hallstavik outside Norrtälje, Sweden. The solar park was make possible thanks to a power purchase agreement signed with Axfood, who will purchase the clean energy at a low, fixed price for at least 10 years. 

The solar park is about 82 hectares (equivalent to 117 football fields) and will deliver an expected annual production of about 63 GWh (equivalent to the electricity consumption of roughly 12,600 villas), making it Sweden’s largest solar park at the time of commissioning.
