About the project: Alight’s 12 MW solar park in Linköping, built in collaboration with Infranode and Tekniska verken, was one of the largest solar parks in Sweden when it was commissioned in 2020. In 2022, Alight added a 2 MW/2MWh battery to the facility, making it one of the largest co-located solar-plus-storage plant in Sweden.
The solar park is located right outside Linköping, alongside the E4 highway and covers an area equal to 22 soccer fields. The approximately 30,000 solar panels produce the equivalent of household electricity for 2,300 houses.
